Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry raised Pakistan’s serious concerns over the situation in Jammu & Kashmir with EU Secretary General for External Affairs Helga Schmid. The two met today on the sidelines of the 71st UNGA session in New York.
The Foreign Secretary briefed his EU counterpart on the gross human rights violations committed by India against innocent Kashmiris that has resulted in the death of over 100 and injuries to 8,000 people.
The EU side noted Pakistan’s concerns and inquired about the current state of Pakistan-India relations.
Afghanistan was also discussed during the meeting. EU appreciated Pakistan’s role in facilitating peace efforts in Afghanistan. EU Secretary General also briefed the Foreign Secretary on preparations for the upcoming Brussels Ministerial Conference on Afghanistan to be held in Brussels in October.
All those people from Pakistan, who are advocating for Kashmir to be freed, I want to ask five questions, as under:
1. Why you attacked Kashmir in 1947 & 1948 by breaching the stand still agreement signed with Maharaja Hari Singh the ruler of Kashmir.
2. Why you didn't followed UN resolution of vacating your forces out of Kashmir (http://www.un.org/en/peacekeeping/missions/unmogip/documents.shtml)
3. Why you accedded 5000 sq. km of Kashmiri land to China.
4. Have you taken consent from Kashmiri people, before starting KKH and CEPC passing from Kashmir.
5. Why you are still maintaining Pakistan Army to illegally occupy Kashmir.
Answers of a common Indian questions ..
1. Maharaja Hari Singh was Non-muslim ruler of Muslim majority state Kashmir and it was clear that Kashmiris don’t want to join India so it was essential to help Kashmiris .. To help Kashmiris brothers local people with the help of other Muslim tribes fought their war of liberation .. Democratically, majority opinion has to be accepted so majority was and still is of Muslims in Kashmir ..
2. According to UN resolution on Kashmir Pakistan has to vacate its army from Azad Kashmir but same resolution said that India also has to demilitarized the Kashmir region and take steps to hold plebiscite .. The question is how this process will work step by step ? .. The answer is first both countries have to settle things e.g time , who will be the gurrantor , how much time it will take to plebiscite etc .. This process needs dialogue and talks which India always deny that they will not talk on Kashmir ..
3. According to Chinese that part of region belongs to China but they promised if India and Pakistan will solve Kashmir issue then they will return that part .. (You are unaware of this agreement just go to wikipedia)
4. The people of Azad Kashmir are Pakistanis and any Pakistani has no issue if the matter is of national interest .. Don’t tell false news of protests in Pakistan etc .. (If you have any proof give me link but that link should be of an international news media like guardian , new York times , bbc etc ) These news papers are full of killings and massacres in Indian occupied Kashmir from Indian army against defenseless Kashmiris but there is no such issue in Pakistan ..
5. Pakistan army will vacate according to UN resolution but things should be setteled first with dialogues (Also see my answer no. 2) .. India also has 7 lacs army in IOK and there is no need of such a huge army but actually India needs to press innocent Kashmiris freedom demand so such a huge army is Indian need ..
