Faisal Sabzwari breaks silence over MQM Pakistan in Sindh Assembly session

Muttahida Qaumi Movement senior member Faisal Sabzwari Wednesday (today) said that despite being in the majority, the party never got a high ranked ministry.

Addressing at the Sindh assembly session today, he highlighted the reasons behind the creation of MQM Pakistan.

Moreover, MQM Pakistan leader Sardar Ahmed presented a resolution in the Sindh Assembly against the party founder for violating Article 6 of the constitution.

MQM Pakistan leader Rauf Siddiqui who had earlier arrived from jail in an Armoured Personnel Vehicle (APV) said that all of his party members are patriotic Pakistanis.
Several other resolutions against the MQM founder were presented in the Sindh Assembly. A resolution was also presented by Pakistan Muslim League-Functional leader Nusrat Sahar Abbasi and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Khurram Sherzaman.

The resolutions in the Sindh Assembly were passed over a speech by the MQM Founder on August 22 where he instigated his workers to attack media houses and chanted anti-Pakistan slogans. The violence which followed resulted in the death of one person.

Meanwhile, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan leader Rauf Siddiqui has categorically stated that that no one except Dr Farooq Sattar is the chief of MQM.

Speaking to media upon his arrival at Sindh Assembly from jail, Rauf Siddiqui said, “Dr Farooq Sattar is the chief MQM.”

Disassociating from MQM founder, Siddiqui went on to say that party leaders will decide over resolution against Altaf Hussain in Sindh Assembly.

“MQM Pakistan leaders raised voice in love for Pakistan,” he added.
