Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is embroiled in an internal rift between Youth Wing and Secretary General Jahangir Khan Tareen, just a few days before the ‘Raiwind March’.

However, Jahangir Tareen, acknowledged that there were differences but asserted that they would be taken care of once Raiwind march concludes.

The senior member of the party has taken steps for reconciliation with the youth wing to avoid adverse effects on the protest rally in Raiwind of Lahore which is home to the premier, Nawaz Sharif who currently is in New York to address the United Nations General Assembly session.

While, Tareen is mending the relation with the department, former secretary general of the youth wing, Qasim Shah has demanded the party leadership of establishing a sub-wing.

Earlier, angry over Jahangir Tareen’s policies, party’s Youth Wing has revolted against him and has printed banners and posters calling for his removal.

Before Youth Wing, PTI’s Labour Wing has also refused to follow Jehangir Tareen’s decisions.

Refuting news of revolt within party, secretary Information Naeem ul Haq said some people with vested interests are involved in this.

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Additional General Secretary Saifullah Niazi also resigned from his post due to differences with PTI leaders.
