Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nation’s Geneva Office, Tehmina Janjua urged the UN to send its mission to Indian Held Kashmir (IHK), in order to investigate the atrocities being committed by Indian security forces against the Kashmiris.

Tehmina Janjua said, “the inhumane treatment given to Kashmiris by the Indian security forces is concerning.”

Janjua further said, “There is sufficient evidence of Indian violence and injustice against unarmed Kashmiri civilians.”

“Hence the international community must intervene and act against Indian brutality as soon as possible.”

She further demanded a transparent inquiry into the violation of human rights that were taking place in IHK and said that India was using cheap ploys to deflect attention from the dismal situation of occupied Kashmir.
