Former Punjab Governor and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab leader Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said Pakistan Muslim League – N (PML-N) wanted propagation of corruption and commission culture instead of eradication of corruption and beginning accountability in the country.
“If government wanted eradication of corruption, they would have formed the inquiry commission by now and there wouldn’t have been any street protests,” he said. Sarwar said opposition parties will have to support Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) against corruption and bad governance in best interest of the country.
He expressed these views while talking to media after meeting PTI Khanewal District President Pir Zahoor Hussain Qureshi at his residence in Mian Channu.
He said Imran Khan was fighting on streets for rule of law and supremacy of the constitution, and added that Pakistan won’t progress unless there is an effective justice system in the country.
“Protesting for rights is the essential element of democracy which can’t be infringed at any cost. It will be better for the PML-N to start free and fair accountability in the country instead of making lame excuses”, he said.
The nation will not forget the corrupt rulers and revenge will be taken by using power of vote, he added.
