I can wear anything for a film: SRK

Shahrukh Khan, the king of Bollywood, also known as King Khan is famous for his style statements and dapper personality.

In a recent report by Filmfare, the superstar has finally spilled the beans on styling rules he always abides by. The Bollywood actor said he keeps it simple when dressing for a film, “I can wear anything for a film,” he said.

While talking about men wearing skinny jeans, the 50-year-old actor said that he doesn’t like skinny jeans on men. “With all due respect to men, I’m judgemental about guys who wear skinny jeans. Jeans have to be loose,” he said.

It is ironic to note that the star whose fashion choices are now more understated at one point used to look up to Rishi Kapoor as an inspiration. “I didn’t go through fashion magazines. When I was growing up, I had copied Rishi Kapoor’s red suit from Bobby,” he revealed.

SRK considers cargos chic and likes to wear them often.

“For me, Josh was the highest point of fashion. I like cargos. They don’t make good cargos anymore,” he says.

The Raees star further revealed that his on-screen fashion choices led to the construction of his metrosexual image. “Whatever I wore in my movies was Karan’s (Johar) doing. That was the time when India wanted to become metrosexual.”
