A shop was robbed while two persons were looted within the Race Course and Airport police jurisdictions.
The owner of sanitary store Mian Afzal lodged a complaint with the local police that robbers stormed into his shop, held him hostage at gunpoint and made off with Rs 30,000 in cash and other valuables.
Asim, a resident of Airport, lodged a complaint with the local police that he was walking on Rahimabad Road when two motorcyclists intercepted him, held him hostage at gunpoint and made off with Rs 23,000 in cash and other valuables.
Abbass Ali, another resident of Airport, lodged a complaint with the local police that two motorcyclists waylaid her daughter at gunpoint and made off with gold ornaments and Rs 15,000 in cash along with other valuables.
The police have registered cases and started investigations.
