An Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday approved an eight-day judicial remand of main accused Raja Arshad in Fahad Malik murder case till September 23.
The accused Raja Arshad, presented before the ATC Judge Kauser Abbass in Islamabad was brought in strict security after the end of his three-day physical remand in a case of barrister Fahad Malik’s murder, who is the niece of former Senate chairman Muhammad Mian Soomro.
During the hearing, a request was made to extend remand while the defence counsel said the police was requesting extension in remand again and again despite it had recovered mobile phone during the interrogation.
Moreover, the court approved an eight-day judicial remand and fixed hearing of the case for September 23.
