Eight held for hurling life threats to citizens

At least eight people were booked for allegedly hurling life threats to two citizens in separate incidents within the Secretariat and Ramna police jurisdictions.

Sajid Gondal, a resident of Secretariat, lodged a complaint with the local police that Zahid Gujar, Shahid Mohsin and four accomplices stopped his car and started assaulting him and hurled him life threats. The attackers also damaged his car.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Anwar, a resident of Ramna, lodged a complaint with the local police that he purchased a five Marla plot worth Rs 1.2 million from Mirza Muzaffar and Bilal. Upon selling the plot, the estate agent told him that the plot is three Marla in size.

According to the complainant, upon contact with Mirza Muzaffar and Bilal for compensating the plot’s amount, they started hurling life threats at him.

The police have registered a case and started investigation.
