Iran kills 4 suspected terrorists near Pakistan border

Iranian forces said four suspected terrorists had been killed the other day in the Sistan-Balouchestan province near the border with Pakistan.

According to the official Fars news agency, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) dismantled a group of nine terrorists in the city of Saravan, killing four terrorists, including their commander, and injuring two others.

According to an official statement, the terrorists, belonging to the Jeish al-Adl group, intended to carry out “sabotaging acts inside Iran” but was disbanded by the IRGC in the Kouhak border region of Saravan city.

The statement added that the IRGC also destroyed weapons, ammunition, wireless equipment, night-vision goggles and three Toyota vehicles recovered from the terrorists.

Earlier, the Iranian intelligence and security forces claimed to have dismantled a group of 12 terrorists in the western city of Sardasht. That team was reportedly equipped with light and semi-heavy weapons and intended to carryout sabotage acts inside Iran.
