Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Farooq Sattar will stay at hospital for about five days, a spokesperson of Liaqat National Hospital Karachi said.
Dr Farooq was rushed to the hospital in wee hours of Sunday when he suffered neck and back injuries after his car turned turtle near Nooriabad on the Superhighway as he was returning to Karachi after his visit to Hyderabad.
A team of doctors examined MQM leaders and conducted various tests. They said Farooq was out of danger, but he would stay in hospital for four to five days.
Three security guards of Dr Farooq were also injured in the accident, who were also rushed to the hospital.
