A couple of years back the Punjab Government had launched the mega project of Metro bus service, it was completed on time despite all criticism more or less baseless from the opposition. The people living in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad envied their brothers and sisters for enjoying such a comfortable, safe and secure mode of transportation. They also wished to have a similar transport facility. Their wish was fulfilled sooner than they expected and metro bus project was also replicated in Rawalpindi and Islamabad by the Provincial Government.
It is good to note that the Punjab Government under the dynamic, energetic and committed leadership of Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, continues to launch and implement mega projects one after the other not only in Lahore but also in other parts of the province as well. Now, the people of Lahore are going to have most modern, fast, respectable, safe and cosy transport facility in the form of Lahore Orange Line Metro Train after Metro bus. And, people of Islamabad and Rawalpindi have already started feeling jealousy on this account.
But surely like the Chief Minister had given us Metro bus facility, we are confident that after completion of Lahore Orange Line Metro Train, Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also start mulling the proposal, if he is not already on it, to also launch mega project of Orange Line Metro Train in the twin cities also in due course of time.
In all fairness, who does not want to have a respectable, fast, modern and comfortable mode of transportation like Orange Line Metro Train?
