The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Dalbandin deputy assistant director was apprehended for issuing fake computerised national identity cards (CNICS) to foreigners.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) conducted a raid on Saturday and arrested a deputy assistant director of NADRA Dalbandin, identified as Zahoor Ahmed, on charges of issuing fake CNICs to Afghan and Iran nationals at large scale.
The NADRA deputy assistant director was shifted to FIA Headquarters in Quetta for further investigation.
