The PML-N gathered outside the residence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Jati Umrah, Raiwind and protested against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) announcement of the Raiwind march.
The workers vowed to protect the Prime Minister’s House against any advances by PTI Chief Imran Khan and said they would never allow Khan to march on the premier’s residence.
The workers said they along with their children would stand guard outside the prime minister’s residence.
Imran Khan on Tuesday had announced a march on Raiwind against the government on September 24.
Addressing a rally in Karachi he said, “Inshallah, on September 24, I will bring people from across Pakistan to Raiwind.”
“I am inviting the entire nation to participate in the march,” he had added.
