Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday said the conscious people had rejected politics of agitation.
Talking to elected representatives, he said those doing politics of sit-ins wanted to push the developing country back for personal gains. But, he added, politically sane people would not allow such to succeed in their conspiracy.
Now, at a time when the country was on the road to progress and prosperity, it would be cruelty to the nation by creating hurdles through sit-ins, which the nation would never forgive, he said.
He said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had accomplished a number of mega public-welfare development projects.
“The journey of development and progress will continue till achievement of the goal of developed and prosperous Pakistan,” Shehbaz vowed.
