Joint opposition staged a walkout from the National Assembly on Thursday against what they called partial attitude of National Assembly (NA) Speaker Ayyaz Sadiq.
PTI MNA Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the speaker had become “controversial” by not sending the reference against Nawaz Sharif and others to the Election Commission of Pakistan.
He said the Speaker’s Office was very important, but Ayyaz Sadiq had caused harm to the credibility of this institution by taking a partial decision, so opposition parties walked out of the House.
Opposition Leader in National Assembly Khursheed Shah said that all opposition parties were on the same page as regards the attitude of NA Speaker Ayyaz Sadiq.
