Actor Stanley Tucci does not think a sequel to the hit Devil Wears Prada is possible and he feels some films should not be meddled with.
Tucci, who played an art director in the original film reportedly based on Vogue’s Anna Wintour doesn’t think a second movie would work, unlike former co-stars Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt who were open to reprising their roles if the second book Revenge Wears Prada was ever made into a movie.
“That’s never going to happen. That role was so great because it was so beautifully written and he was incredibly funny and there was a real substance to it. It was a truly great American studio movie in every way. Perfect in every way.”
“Sometimes it’s best just to leave things. If you try to redo it, let’s face it, there are very few sequels that actually work,” the 55-year-old actor said.
