According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 76% Pakistanis are satisfied with the Karachi operation.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Some people are satisfied with the results of the operations conducted in Karachi and some are unsatisfied. How satisfied or unsatisfied are you with the Karachi operations?”
In response to this question, 42% said that they were very satisfied, 34% said that they were somewhat satisfied, 13% are neither satisfied nor unsatisfied, 6% are unsatisfied, while 2% are very unsatisfied. 3% did not know or did not wish to respond.
The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1867 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during July 18 – July 25, 2016. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
