Pemra has finally done what Imran Khan had been demanding since some time. The regulatory body has fined the channels that had broadcast pictures of a prospective Mrs Imran Khan.
The lady in question was indeed a very committed activist of the PTI but there wasn’t anything of the sort on the cards.
Well, it seems that Khan Sb has written off the whole marriage business for a while.
Chosen the affairs of the state over the affairs of the heart. And no need to rush things; he’s still young, after all.

The National Hospital in Lahore’s Defence area has undergone a bit of a makeover.
The makeover is a bit too plush, in many people’s opinion, with huge chandeliers hanging in the lobby, with the entire motif designed by Paris-based Pakistani designer Bhatti. There has been a stratification in the services offered to the public at large in the health and education sectors. The good stuff for those who can pay.
But it was, till recently, considered bad form to actually pass it off as such. That all has gone out the window. Expect more and more…opulence in the sector in the time to come.
Also in the education sector. Gourmet cafeterias for the students and foot massages during circuit analysis class.
