Awami Muslim League (AML) President Sheikh Rasheed Saturday (today) warned the administration not to seal the main roads in Rawalpindi.

On that, containers were removed from the Rawalpindi roads.

Earlier, roads leading to Lal Haveli have been sealed by containers ahead of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) planned sit-in in the city.

The main Murree road has been completely blocked causing great distress for the city’s residents.  Police has also been deployed at Metrobus stations in the city.

According to reports, due to traffic, a woman died in an ambulance while on her way to the hospital.

PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has left his residence and will lead the rally to Rawalpindi. The rally will demand justice for families of the Model Town victims.
