The news that the Punjab Police has declared 338 schools, colleges, and universities “sensitive” over security concerns is alarming. It brings to light the fact that education continues to be under threat. Until and unless these educational institutions will not enforce security measures immediately they will continue to be under threat. Therefore, need of the hour is to take immediate measures to enhance the security of such institutions and for this the government along with owners of these institutions must play their part in order to avoid any unfortunate incident.
