A Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) delegation comprising members of the parliament held a meeting with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders, including Senator Aitzaz Ahsan on Wednesday.
According to sources, the MQM Members National Assembly (MNAs) urged the PPP for support at this time of difficulty.
The MQM delegation included Iqbal Muhammad Ali, Shaikh Salahuddin and Sajid Ahmed, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Nadeem Afzal and Chaudhry Manzoor accompanied by Senator Aitzaz.
To a question about bringing resolution against MQM founder Altaf Hussain in the Parliament, MQM MNA Iqbal said it is premature to comment on it.
