Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan, has announced that his party would hold a public meeting in Karachi’s Nishtar Park on September 6.

Khan says the rally will be held to express solidarity with the country and to condemn Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain’s anti-Pakistan speech.

PTI has also announced to hold an anti-government rally on September 3 in Lahore as part of its ‘Accountability Movement’.

So far, other opposition parties including Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) have not yet confirmed participation in the rallies, though they claim to be unified for the cause.
