The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) seized huge quantity of narcotics weighing 1.43 tons worth Rs 7.5 billion in International Market in 15 operations conducted across the country.
The seized drugs comprised 1.09 ton heroin, 313.6 kg Hashish and 29.6 kg opium. During these operations, at least 14 persons, including a foreign national involved in drug trafficking, were arrested while 5 vehicles were impounded.
The operations were carried out at Islamabad, Attock, Lahore, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Hyderabad, Karachi, Quetta and Pishin.
