Three alleged human traffickers held in Rawat, Taxila

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) claimed to have apprehended three alleged human traffickers while recovering fake passports and documents from suspects’ possession during raids in Rawat and Taxila.

On a tip-off, the FIA raided a hideout in Rawat on Tuesday and rounded up a proclaimed offender, identified as Abbasi Kashmir. He was wanted by FIA since 2015.

Meanwhile, on a tip-off, the FIA conducted a raid in Taxila area on Tuesday and detained two persons, identified as Tasawwur and Waqar Hussain, besides seizing four passports, fake documents and stamp from their possession.

The suspects have established a construction company in Taxila. Both of them have grabbed millions of rupees from various persons on false promise of sending them to Saudi Arabia.

The human traffickers have been shifted to Anti-Human Trafficking cell for further investigations.
