Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Islamabad police arrested a burglar who used to strike at posh residential areas and recovered electronic equipment, foreign currency and gold ornaments from him, a police spokesman said.
A team of SIU headed by CIA DSP Bashir Noon nabbed a professional burglar identified as Ibraheem, son of Muhammad Qasim, who used to strike at posh residential sectors. The police team recovered a white gold necklace, foreign currency, three laptops, two digital cameras, six mobiles, one tablet, two watches, computer and mobile accessories along instruments of burglary, including iron rod, pipe wrench, hammer from him.
He confessed to strike at House no 189, Street no 78, Sector G-11/2 Islamabad owned by Nadeem Yousuf Butt on August 15 and House no 1052, Street no 64, Sector G-11/2 Islamabad owned by Saeed Anwar Baig Yousuf on August 13.
Cases about these burglary incidents were registered at Ramna Police Station. The nabbed burglar also revealed to committing burglaries in various areas of the capital. Further investigation is underway and police is hopeful for more recovery from him.
