Punjab government has prohibited proscribed outfits from collecting hides of sacrificial animals on the eve of Eid –ul- Azha.
Charity organisations will not be entitled to collect sacrificial animals hides without obtaining NOC from district administration.
Punjab government has issued circulars to all DCOs in this regard.
Sources said that no banned organisation will be authorised to collect hides even under some other nomenclature, and the charity organisations which collect hides will be bound to seek permission from the respective DCOs.
District Intelligence Committee (DIC) of every district will issue an NOC after reviewing all the documents.
Those found responsible for violating these directives will be proceeded against under the rules.
