Republican nominee Donald Trump is scheduled to address Hindu American supporters at a rally in New Jersey on September 24, two days before the first presidential debate. We have now discovered that Bollywood actors Shahid Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Ameesha Patel, singer Kanika Kapoor, choreographer-director Prabhu Dheva and spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will perform at the event and later meet Trump.

Republican Hindu Coalition (RHC), the group that is hosting the event, shared on Facebook that Shahid, Malaika, Kanika, Prabhu Dheva and Sri Sri will perform at the event. The money raised from the event will be used for the benefit of victims of terrorism, particularly Kashmiri Pandits and Hindu refugees from Bangladesh.

Shahid’s newborn daughter won’t even be a month-old when he flies to New Jersey to perform at the Humanity United Against Terror charity event.

Tickets for the event can be bought at $29 from Sulekha and Hungama websites.

“Trump will be with us for nearly four hours,” Shalabh Kumar, an Illinois businessman who founded RHC, earlier told Hindustan Times. It’s the first such outreach to this increasingly influential community of Indian Americans by an American presidential nominee.
