At least six people were injured after roof of a snooker club caved in within the limits of Naseerabad police station.
Sources said that in the area of Fazal Abad, six labourers identified as Behroz Khan, aged 20; Shakirullah, 30; Majidullah, 22; Arshad Khan, 35; Muhammad Javed, 30 and Saifullah, 25 were engaged in the construction work of inner wall of snooker club when all of a sudden, the roof collapsed. All the labourers were trapped under debris.
The locals rushed to the scene and pulled out the injured persons from debris on self help basis.
Rescue 1122 shifted the injured to nearby District Headquarters Hospital where they were under treatment.
The cantonment board had already issued notice to the owners of the dilapidated building to vacate it before the advent of monsoon season.
