Saudi Arabian Defence Minister and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud arrived in Pakistan for a two-day official tour on Sunday evening.
The Saudi minister was received by his Pakistani counterpart Khawaja Asif at the airport.
Later, Prince Salman met Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House and discussed a range of issues, including matters of bilateral relations, regional situation and fight on terror, with him. Army Chief General Raheel Sharif was also present on the occasion.
This is the second visit of the Saudi defence minister. He had arrived in Pakistan in January this year.
Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud, the son of Saudi King Salman, is considered one of the most influential men in the country. He is the second deputy prime minister and the youngest minister of defence in the world.
