Police starts probing assets of key suspect in Fahad Malik murder case

The police have started interrogations into the assets worth billions of rupees from key suspect in Barrister Fahad Malik’s murder case.

The accused, Raja Arshad, owns commercial plazas and plots besides 42 accounts in different banks. The police have also started contacts with his business partners and got the details of his 42 accounts.

The suspect is likely to make more confessions regarding how he reached the border despite strict checking in the way and his facilitators in Afghanistan.

On the other hand, the second accused in the case Nauman alias Nomi Khokhar was presented in the court after completion of his remand.

On request of police, the court has granted an additional three-day remand of the accused and has directed to conduct his complete medical checkup before next hearing.
