Four road projects unveiled in Kotli Sattian

Projects costing Rs 6.20 billion are under progress in Kotli Sattian, says minister

 

Punjab Minister for Labour and Manpower Raja Ashfaq Sarwar unveiled the plaque of four important road projects of tehsil Kotli Sattian costing Rs 1.50 billion on Sunday.

Coordinator to Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Hafiz Usman Abbasi, MPA Sobia Anwar Satti, PML-N’s tehsil President Advocate Khurshid Satti, Bilal Yamin Satti, Shahid Riaz, Raja Ateeq Sarwar, PML (N) office bearers, workers and notables of the areas participated in the inaugural ceremony.

Addressing on the occasion, Sarwar said that the present government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, is committed to resolving the genuine problems of the people, especially the ones living in remote and far-flung areas by initiating mega development projects for the provision of water supply, education, health and road communication facilities.

He said that the on the directives of the PM and CM, a special focus has been laid on mitigating the difficulties of the people of tehsil Kotli Sattian and in order to facilitate the inhabitants of the tehsil, construction work of four new road projects had been started, while a number of other road construction projects were already in progress in the area.

Talking about the developmental activities in the province, Sarwar said that despite the negative and disruptive political motives of the opposition, the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League (N) has focused its attention on development and welfare-oriented projects, with the objective to remove a sense of deprivation of underprivileged areas. The provincial minister said that the historic projects costing Rs 6.20 billion are under progress in tehsil Kotli Sattian, which would fulfil the basic needs of the people.

Addressing the participants, Hafiz Usman Abbasi said that under the directives of PM Sharif, a survey was being conducted for the provision of Sui gas to all the areas of tehsil Kotli Sattian. Similarly, road construction would also be completed according to the required standards, he said. He also mentioned the backwardness of the hill area and said that the present government is spending a huge amount to bring under-developed areas at par with developed localities. Various other speakers also spoke on the occasion.
