When our time comes, we would raid TV offices much better than the MQM has, said Mustafa Kamal in Karachi on Saturday.

Speaking to reporters at his party office in DHA, Karachi, he said “When the time comes of our having either outlived our utility for the establishment or gotten too big for our shoes, we will show you all gathered here exactly how this thing is done.”

“It will be tasteful, it won’t be crass, I assure you. We will manage to bring in more casualties and lesser noise,” said said in his usual, passionate style. “The one thing that I hate is an inflation of the volume of the noise.”

“When I keep talking about bringing the original message of the MQM back is the high bang for the buck in terms of violence. Back in the day, people wouldn’t have been able to hear the noise two streets down and twelve people would have been ‘fit.’”

“Now, even if the city closes down, the weak administration of Altaf can manage to leave only three dead, nine injured.”

“Yes, yes, before you bring up 12th May,” he said, answering a question, “I would like to remind you that that was before, not after, the MQM’s time was up. At that point in time, anyone can be a sher.
