Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Chief Muhammad Tahir Khan on Thursday said that the Afghan refugees, who were living without legal and visa documents, would be repatriated to their home country.

He said that Afghan refugees who possessed valid visa and other travelling documents would be facilitated.

Tahir said, “We as Pakistanis cannot visit abroad like England, Germany and UAE without visa and other travelling documents than how we can allow illegal immigrants to live in our country without legal travelling documents.”

Tahir said the law and order situation has significantly improved in Peshawar due to supreme sacrifices of police and law enforcement agencies.

The CCPO said that work on National Action Plan is successfully underway in the province and its positive results are visible now.
