In the last phase of the local body (LB) elections held in the metropolis on Wednesday, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) candidate Izharuddin was declared elected according to unofficial results.
Karachi West District returning officer said that Izharuddin secured 36 votes.
According to unofficial results, MQM’s Rehan Hashmi was elected as chairman unopposed in central district whereas Saeed Shakir was elected as vice chairman.
