Sindh Minister for Social Welfare Shamim Mumtaz directed to provide one window facility to special persons for their registration with Social Welfare Department (SWD).
She said this while chairing a meeting at her office on Wednesday.
According to a statement issued, she said that the government had allocated quota of jobs for special persons in government departments to enable them to earn their livelihood in respectable manner and contribute to the development of society and country.
She added that it is mandatory for special persons to produce registration certificate issued by SWD for jobs in government departments.
He directed that special arrangements should be made to facilitate special persons who require certificate and process of issuance of certificate must be completed within a week.
She also directed all the district officers of SWD to start this facility at district level so that special persons of remote areas are provided registration certificates at their doorsteps.
