Special centre set up to monitor LRMIS staff performance

A special centre has been established to monitor the performance of Land Record Management Information System (LRMIS) officials and the use of mobile phone by the staff has been restricted during duty timings.

It was stated by Punjab Board of Revenue Senior Member Jawad Rafique in a press statement issued on Monday.

He said that people’s entry in the official areas of the services centres have been banned while the officials would be available till the end of duty timings.

He said that preparation for project to computerise urban lands and electronic maps have also been started while international experts have been hired to make this project as per international standards.

“Project Management Unit (PMU) is always on front to provide relief to the people of the province after computerisation of land record of 143 tehsils of 36 districts from the LRMIS centres,” he added. He said that land record computerisation systems are operational in 143 Tehsils of Punjab and any person can receive the record of his property within 30 minutes.
