OIC’s ummah speaks out about Kashmir

It is a positive sign that OIC has finally raised its Voice on Kashmir Dispute after remaining dormant on the issues faced by the Muslim world for decades. The Secretary General of the Organisation, Mr. Ayaz Amin Madani, while visiting, Pakistan held a Press Conference alongside Mr. Sartaj Aziz (the Foreign Affairs Adviser) and said “Kashmir is not India’s internal matter but is a human rights violation issue. The international community has concerns over the dangerous situation”.

The situation is heading towards right on self determination. Kashmiris want the end of Indian Occupation and are fighting for their independence. India cannot keep them in chains and will have to honour its commitment to the plebiscite in Kashmir. Whether they join Pakistan or become an autonomous state – now that will be determined through referendum.

The Indian aggression & atrocities must be stopped. The people of Kashmir are going through extreme torture on daily basis. India has not stopped its cruelty & barbarity for decades. It is necessary to raise our voices in Kashmir’s favour and against Indian inhuman treatment.
