Pakistanis living in the UK will be protesting today against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain’s anti-Pakistan speech that led to violence in Karachi the other day. The overseas nationals will also be lodging complaints with the Metropolitan Police for action against the exiled party leader. The protests will be held on a call given by World Congress of Overseas Pakistanis and Mustafa Kamal’s Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) against Altaf Hussain’s anti-Pakistan speech. According to reports, the Pakistanis will be protesting at 10 Downing Street at 4PM local time, after having lodged complaints against the MQM leader for inciting violence against institutions in Karachi. The complaints came in the form of telephone calls and emails. The complaints have already been forwarded to Special Operation Squad 15 for investigations. On Monday, the MQM activists clashed with the police and ransacked two private television stations in Karachi, leaving at least one man dead and seven others injured. The violence erupted soon after exiled leader of the MQM, Altaf Hussain, gave a telephone address to his supporters in which he castigated the media for not giving due coverage of his workers. Meanwhile, Rangers arrested MQM’s top leader in Karachi, including Farooq Sattar, before a press conference at Karachi Press Club and raided MQM headquarters Nine Zero and other party buildings in Karachi and other cities of Sindh late last night, and sealed the party offices.

  1. Farooq Sattar and other MQM top leaders failed to condemn their supporter for their abhorrent acts, they failed to apologies or express their sympathies to the victims and the media outlets that were attacked. They did absolutely nothing to stop their supporter when they were on the rampage. Under the circumstances, is it not reasonable to believe that they were complicit in the heinous acts?
Hats off to COAS who immediately ordered the operation, han he not done so, neither the Sindh chief minister nor prime minister NS would have done anything.

  2. Altaf’s mission is Blackmailing, looting, killing, collecting extortion and grabbing properties and flats in Karachi. It is real that Farroq Sattar will continue this mission. It is too strange for a balanced person to continue such activities.
