Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider has led a protest rally against brutality unleashed in Indian-held Kashmir by Indian troops as demonstrations against Indian violence continue across the country.
The protesters marched from Muzaffarabad to Chakothi, a small border town along the Line of Control.
Participants of the rally stated that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was playing with sentiments of Kashmiris by resorting to unnecessary statements and not deliberating over the dispute with seriousness.
Modi was fanning anarchy and hatred in the region, the protesters said.
The recent clashes between Kashmiris and oppressive forces in Indian-held Kashmir erupted after a freedom fighter, Burhan Wani was martyred on July 8.
Over 80 Kashmiris have been killed while more than 5,000 persons have been wounded so far.
