MQM stages protest outside White House against Pakistan govt

A protest was staged outside The White House in Washington on Monday by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) over continuous reprisal against refugees in Pakistan.

Expressing solidarity with the workers who are conducting hunger strike in Karachi, MQM activists chanted slogans against the government by holding placards and MQM Chief Altaf Hussain’s picture.

On the occasion, speakers said that government and intelligence agencies are busy in negotiating with Taliban and neglect serious talks with MQM to sort the internal issues.

Furthermore, while talking to the media, MQM leaders said that they have also planned to demonstrate outside United Nations in New York for which, an application seeking permission has been sent to the authorities.
