At least two persons were killed in separate hit-and-run incidents within the Margalla and Sabzi Mandi police jurisdictions.
Mohammad Abbas, a resident of Margalla, lodged a complaint with the local police that he along with his uncle Ansar was crossing the road near Fatima Jinnah Park when a car driven by unidentified person crushed him to death and fled the scene.
Meanwhile, Zahid Raiz, a resident of Sector I-9, lodged a complaint with the local police that Waleed was going on motorcycle when he was hit by a truck (TAF-755) recklessly driven by an unidentified driver besides Kattarain Road, killing him on the spot.
The bodies were shifted to local hospital for medico-legal formalities.
