Bollywood celebrities are often posed with uncomfortable questions on public platforms. While some of them have learnt the art of escaping them smartly, there are others who prefer to give a fitting reply to such questions. Recently, at a press conference held in Melbourne, Pakistani actor Fawad Khan was asked to comment on how India had adopted westernisation in terms of kissing scenes and romance in films and how the cultures of India and Pakistan were different. But before Fawad could begin answering the question, actress Richa Chadha cut in to answer on behalf of the Pakistani actor.

It is a part of the strategy to keep political unrest to sort off maintain a global kind of , I am sorry but your question to me doesn’t make sense because I will have far more in common with Fawad because I am from the North of India than I will have with somebody who is a tambrahm or maybe Malyaali or from the North east. I think we should avoid stereotyping in questions or creating some kind of contradiction here because the whole intent and especially art does really have any borders.”
