Liaquat Bagh and Marrir Chowks at Murree Road would be made signal free aimed at providing relief to the motorists.
Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Spokesman Hafiz Muhammad Irfan said a plan to make these chowks signal free has been prepared while PC-2 of the project has been sent to the authorities concerned for approval. The completion of the project would ease the heavy traffic flow on the road, he added.
He further informed that RDA would soon start construction work of Rahimabad Road Project, linking it with Tipu and Rawal Roads.
The project would cost Rs 250 million, he said, adding that it would provide relief to the area residents.
