The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has submitted a report in a court revealing 0.116 million votes to be fake out of 0.170 million votes cast in the constituency of Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, a private news channel reported.
According to NADRA report at least 0.170m votes were examined in the constituency of Asif. Computerized National Identity Card Numbers (CNICs) of 0.116 votes turned out to be fake, several votes even did not carry thumb impressions.
The defence minister had won general elections of 2013 from constituency of NA-110 in Sialkot with 92, 848 votes.
The contender against Khawaja Asif in the general elections and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Usman Dar had challenged success of Asif.
