Murad vows to implement NAP, bring madaris under registration

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Saturday said that the national action plan would be implemented in its letter and spirit, and that madaris would be registered across the province.

He was chairing a provincial cabinet meeting on Thursday. The chief minister said the registration of madaris was very important and urged the religious seminaries to cooperate with the government which would provide all sort of help to madaris.

Adviser on Legal Affairs Murtaza Wahab presented the bill regarding madaris’ registration.

According to Senator Saeed Ghani, the cabinet discussed in detail “Deeni Madaris Registration Bill”. The cabinet members raised relevant queries which were responded by the law adviser. After discussion, the cabinet constituted a committee to further deliberate on “Deeni Madaris Registration Bill”. The law adviser would head the committee.
