A ban has been imposed on setting up cattle markets for Eidul Azha in areas of Rawalpindi and Chaklala Cantt due to security concerns and threat of Congo virus.
According to sources, the Rawalpindi and Chaklala Cantt authorities imposed a ban on establishing cattle markets and selling cattle alongside roads in connection with Eidul Azha due to the fear of spreading Congo fever through sacrificial animals.
