The police arrested an Afghan national and recovered a Pakistani computerised national identity card (CNIC) from his custody on Friday.
The police acting on a tip-off, conducted an operation at Cinema Road in the provincial capital Peshawar during which an Afghan citizen was held with CNIC issued by NADRA.
Police said that the nabbed foreigner has been doing leather business in Peshawar and other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) for the last 25 years.
A case has been registered against the detainee at the respective police station and an investigation was in progress.
