The Sindh director schools have issued a 16-point instruction notice for all private schools across the province in a bid to tighten security.
According to the instructions, the administration of schools will have to issue passes for visitors while officials must have contact numbers of nearby hospitals and police stations. Walls of private schools will be lifted up to 10 feet and CCTV cameras will be installed.
Display of identity cards has been made mandatory for all students as well as officials while walk-through gates are necessary to be installed. List of names of all the workers affiliated with each school will be provided to the police stations concerned and guards will be appointed only after approval from the police. The development has come in to tighten security of schools and educational institutions across the province.
Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had earlier issued instructions for all departments of the government to produce positive results.
