Former Punjab governor and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab leader Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that government’s TROs are ‘wall of China’ in the way of accountability. Government must accept TROs by September 3 or else they will have to face agitation, he said.
Talking to different delegations in his office, Sarwar said that corruption is mother of all crimes. Daily corruption of 10 billion rupees has hollowed the roots of country. Missing record of 7 billion Pakistani nationals in database of NADRA and Statistics department is manifestation of bad governance.
Mohammad Sarwar said government is not ready to take steps against corruption despite public demand. Government behavior clearly shows that they don’t want accountability but the continuity of status quo, he said.
He appreciated the Supreme Court order abolishing the increase in levy tax.
Sarwar said that government doesn’t want free and fair accountability in Panama Leaks issue but we will not accept pro-corruption TORs.
